I love wholesaling because I can help all kinds of people (sellers, buyers, community), it’s fun because I love the thrill of the chase and folks who get what they want out of the transaction, and of course earning a great income doing what I’m passionate about. This business is what allowed me to work for myself at an early age and even though I made tons of mistakes early on although I’m still not exempt today, I persevered and I’m still here doing what I enjoy.
I enjoy wholesaling because it allows me the freedom of being my own boss and free to use my time as I choose.

Wholesaling is how I got started. It is by far the best way for anyone to get started especially if you have low funds and even shaky credit. My first 6 months in the biz, netted me $50K. I was hooked, not just because of the money, but the opportunity to help someone in distress.
When I closed my first deal, I was a bit nervous and I had this weird feeling that the homeowner would feel that I was taking advantage of them. The total opposite happened. The homeowner was elated that I was able to help her get rid of her problem. I’ll never forget, after the closing, the homeowner looked at me with tears in her eyes and thanked me. She said, “I can now look forward to sleeping tonight”
This poor woman had been unable to sleep for months and here I was able to provide a solution for her problem and give her peace of mind. I now knew I was doing the right thing and in the right business.

After reading about it several times as well as attending Sharon’s lectures, I still do not understand the logic of wholesaling. The fact that I don’t understand the logic of it makes me feel stupid. If someone can explain the logic, motivations and incentives for the win-win in real estate wholesaling, please do so in kindergarten terms.
